The order Lichida is represented by trilobites from two
superfamilies, the Lichoidea and the Odontopleuroidea. From the former,
several species appear to be present, but only one can be assigned with little
ambiguity to the genus Acanthopyge. From the odontopleurids, four
distinct species have been found, but one of these, a Koneprusine, is
represented by only one specimen from the Haragan which has not been described
and named in the scientific literature. The BlackCatMountain odontopleurids are similar to
species found in Europe and Morocco.
